Sarian DR6420 Description

The DR6420 Series from Sarian is a modular ADSL router offering full compatibility with the very latest ADSL2 and 2+ networks. Optional modules provide connectivity to PSTN and ISDN wired networks for back up and additional internal wireless modules give the user the ability to switch over to 3G mobile networks in the event of a total loss of wired connections.

The DR6420 series is also future proof offering the ability to connect to upcoming ADSL 2++ network, offering theoretical download speeds of up to 50 Mbit/s.

The combination of high speed broadband with automatic failover to the fast 3G wireless networks makes the DR6420 the first choice for anyone wanting total reliability for their communications.

Future Proof: The 6420 series is based on the very latest high speed processor technology and supports all known future ADSL updates including ADSL2 / ADSL2+ with a physical download capability of over 50 Mbit/s as ADSL networks progress.

Integrated High Speed Backup: Sarian ADSL products have had the option of wireless backup previously in the form of GPRS, which enabled vital low bandwidth business functions to continue in the event of broadband failure.

The option of an integrated EDGE or HSDPA backup module now means that even with critical damage to ADSL cabling, end users will barely notice any difference in performance thanks to low latency levels and download speeds up to 3.6 Mbit/s* on HSDPA. * (1.8 Mbit/s till Q2 2007)

Modular: Customers can tailor their solution by adding a backup network to suit their requirements, budget and signal availability with the option of wired (PSTN or ISDN) or wireless (EDGE or HSDPA) modules.

USB Cloning: This Series introduces the ability to use a Master USB cloning key to read and transfer the exact configuration of a single router and be able to transfer it on to a whole fleet of routers simply by placing the newly configured USB stick in another Sarian router. This facility gives engineers another valuable tool if remote configuration is not appropriate.

Multiple Serial Ports Configurations: Available with 1, 2 or 6 Serial ports giving excellent choice of functionality, whether supporting a single EPOS machine or PC, to a whole retail stores communication requirements.
