The Polycom® SoundPoint® IP 320 is a two-line SIP phone offering an Enterprise-grade selection of features and is supported by all the major SIP-based call control platforms.

The SoundPoint IP 320 has an IEEE 1329 Type-1 compliant full-duplex speakerphone that uses patented Polycom Acoustic Clarity Technology to deliver superior audio quality and reduce noise, echoes and unwanted background sounds to a minimum.

The desktop base stand included with the SoundPoint IP 320 can be reversed to become a wall-mount unit. This allows the IP 320 to be used as a normal office telephone as well as being adaptable for use in common areas, hallways, break rooms and similar locations.

The implementation of remote provisioning is designed to make configuration and upgrading of the Polycom SoundPoint IP 320 as simple and efficient as possible. The IP 320 supports zero-touch remote provisioning from FTP, TFTP, HTTP or HTTPS servers. Reliability and uninterrupted use is improved by support for boot and call server redundancy.

Connectivity to the network is provided via a standard 10/100 Ethernet port integrated into the Polycom SoundPoint IP 320.

The Polycom SoundPoint IP 320 is powered via PoE (Power over Ethernet). In locations where this is not possible or if your business does not currently use this technology, an optional mains adapter is available.

Polycom has included a wide feature set within the IP 320 to cover common business telephony expectations such as call hold, pick-up, park and transfer. More advanced facilities such as shared and bridged line appearance, distinctive call treatment and XHTML applications are directly supported.

The IP 320 sports 3 context-sensitive “soft” keys and 12 dedicated “hard” keys. Line status is indicated by bi-colour LEDs and navigation though the menu options and features is assisted by a 4-way navigation pad with centre selection key. Amongst the “hard” keys the Polycom SoundPoint IP320 has dedicated buttons for hold, headset, hands-free and microphone mute functions.

A 2.5mm headset socket provides support for all common monaural headsets. The handset of the SoundPoint IP 320 is Hearing Aid Compatible (HAC) for magnetic coupling to approved HAC hearing aids. The IP 320 is also compatible with third party telephone typewriter (TTY/TDD) adapter equipment for use with Textphone/Minicom devices.
