HTC Touch Cruise Description

The HTC Touch Cruise™ uses the intuitive TouchFlo™ user interface for simple and easy navigation through emails, web pages, images and music. Fingertip gestures and movements allow you to quickly browse through all your documents and data.

The HTC Home™ screen shows the current weather along with a large clock display, whilst the control centre provides easy access to device alerts and ring tone settings. An application launcher makes starting your favourite applications or programs a breeze. Contacts and names are shown inside the HTC 3D Touch Cube interface making selection fast and painless.

The HTC Touch Cruise™ includes a satellite location GPS system and comes supplied with software to find the fastest and most direct way to your desired location, offering to find restaurants and other services en-route. The TomTom™ navigation software (Single-City "Taster" Version) provides turn-by-turn navigation and can be set to guide you directly, or route you via points of interest and local attractions.

When in the office, at home or near a public Wi-Fi® hotspot, the Wireless LAN built into the HTC Touch Cruise™ allows you to connect for Internet and email use at up to 54Mbps speed utilising dual-band 802.11b/g.

Email, messaging and Internet use over the mobile phone network, the HTC Touch Cruise offers worldwide use. When in a 3G area the HTC Touch Cruise™ will use the faster HSDPA technology offering up to 3.6Mbps download speed. Tri-Band functionality enables use with American as well as European 3G networks.

The HTC Touch Cruise™ supports 3G/EDGE/GPRS connection via the USB Sync cable. This allows the Touch Cruise™ to act as a 3G modem, extending Internet connection to a laptop or desktop.

Personal connections to Bluetooth® headsets and car systems are supported via the integral Bluetooth® version 2.0. This also allows the HTC Touch Cruise™ to send and receive files, music, images and documents with other Bluetooth® equipped handsets and computers.

The HTC Touch Cruise™ is factory unlocked and will work on any network with either a Contract or Pay-As-You-Go style SIM Card. A two year HTC warranty is also provided.
