CoPilot Live 8 is the award-winning satellite navigation system that runs on your Windows Mobile or Android smartphone. It’s your personal travel assistant that's always at your side, ready to guide you with turn-by-turn voice directions and keep you better informed with useful live information.

CoPilot Live 8 is the most powerful CoPilot yet, packed with sophisticated features previously only available on high-end dedicated navigation systems. Detailed street maps are stored on the phone, not downloaded each trip, so there's no need for extra hardware or monthly fees. Just start CoPilot on your phone, enter a destination and go.

• Clearer guidance at complex junctions: with Lane Indicator display, sign post information and realistic CoPilot ClearTurn™ display at motorway and major road intersections
• Enhanced guidance features: Turn-after-Turn display shows your next turn and the one after, while variable map zoom automatically adjusts the map display depending on your speed. CoPilot can also provide continuous guidance when you lose a GPS signal in a tunnel
• Speed limit indicator provides adjustable on-screen and audible warnings
• Full-featured walking mode turn-by-turn directions to find the way around a town or city on foot, with pedestrian-specific routing, on-screen compass and directions along footpaths
• Phone integration, allows direct dialling to POIs, location sending via text and photo navigation
• Improved safety camera warnings with free database updates
• 3D landmarks (Premium option via CoPilot Central), photorealistic 3D landmarks help you get your bearings more easily in major cities
• Redesigned menus and simple user interface provide 100% finger touch operation, flickable lists and fluid sliding maps
• The latest voice technology CoPilot Live 8 includes improved pre-recorded voices, providing clear spoken directions at each turn. New Live Services

As with previous versions of CoPilot Live, 8 provides useful ‘Live’ services designed to make journeys more predictable. Delivered via a phone’s mobile Internet connection, the range of services available has now been extended to include:

• Live Local Search Integrated access to location-specific Internet search to quickly find nearby products and services. Note: not available for Android phones
• Live Weather Check the conditions on your route or at your destination
• CoPilot® LiveLink™ location sharing allows you to view the location of your CoPilot friends on-screen or online and share your location with them
• Live Traffic information (Premium option via CoPilot Central) High quality, constantly updated traffic information about your route with automatic warnings and re-routing
• Live Fuel Prices (Premium option via CoPilot Central) CoPilot Live 8 can instantly guide you to the closest - or the cheapest - petrol station near your current location

CoPilot Live 8 is currently compatible with smartphones running either the Android opperating system or Windows Mobile 5, 6, 6.1 and 6.5.

Please note: Symbian support will be added to 8 later in 2009. Customers with Symbian S60 phones should purchase CoPilot Live7.
